Personally signed in gold ink $120 each Framed, measures 30" x 22" Framed. Standard Frame is Weathered or you can choose any of our Frame Choices including Oak, Cherry, Gold or Weathered Wood. Standard Matts are 3" Navy outside and 3/16" Oak Brown inside or you can chose any of the colors shown in our Frame and Matt selections. You can also order these Matted 18" x 26" for $55 each. In March 1836, Mexican General Urrea set up headquarters at these Live Oak Trees which are now in the median of US Highway 77 just south of Refugio. Urrea's Army captured the Mission at Refugio and executed 30 Texans that were under the command of Captain Amon B. King. A week later, Lieutenant-Colonel William Ward and his Georgia Battalion of 100 men surrendered to Urrea and were sent to Goliad and, along with the captured James W. Fannin and his men, all were massacred on Palm Sunday, March 27, 1836
