Painting completed in: 2014

This was my 2014 Christmas Painting and verse: Rain Lilies have always fascinated me! There can be the most barren, parched and cracked ground that looks that way for months on end but just one good rain storm will be enough to cause the Rain Lilies to suddenly appear almost overnight. They blossom , drop their seeds and wait for the next opportunity which may be months away! In life ,we can take a lesson from the Rain Lilies, in that no matter how bleak things may seem, with patience and just a little encouragement at the right time we can suddenly blossom just like the Rain Lilies!
