Painting completed in: 2013

"Kickin up a little dust" I was flipping thru my book and stopped at the page that had my painting "Dust Bandits” and got to thinking that it would be fun to do a similar Painting with Longhorns. Martha was driving the truck and I was in the back with a sack of feed and a camera and our Longhorns were chasing the truck, hoping to be fed. We repeated this process for several days and I composed this painting from several of the photographs that I had taken and added the Cowboys behind the Longhorns using photographs that I had taken for the painting “Dust Bandits”. I miss these guys (Longhorns) since they all died of old age.
