Painting completed in: 2006

I was driving between Burnet and Lampassas, Texas when this rusty old Chevy Truck with a bed full of Prickly Pear Cactus caught my eye. I don't know if the owners planted the cactus or if it grew there naturally but I couldn't resist painting it. I added the blooms on the Cactus and the Bluebonnetts and Primrose for a little color! P.S. I met the owner later and he said he put the cactus there!
