This painting will be published on my 2007 Texas Classic Gas Stations Calendar. This Store opened in 1889 and it's appearance has changed very little. It is the oldest Business in Rusk County and is located in the Stewart Community on Fm 782 Between Longview and Kilgore, Texas. The First Gas Stations were existing stores that added gas pumps and this is a great example and yes you can still gas up there!
