This painting was published on my 2006 Texas Spanish Missions Calendar. The Mission San Juan Capistrano is in San Antonio and was Established in 1731. Mexican President Santa Anna was married in the Mission Chapel to a young San Antonio Girl even though he already had a wife in Mexico. It is now part of the United States National Parks system.
