This painting was published on my 2006 Texas Spanish Missions Calendar. The Mission San Elizario is Southeast of El Paso and the current Chapel was built in 1877 in what was then Mexico but due to a shift in the Rio Grande it is now in Texas The First Thanksgiving Holiday in the Americas was celebrated here.
