Painting completed in: 1984
This title was the result of a contest I had in my spring newsletter to name this print. The title appealed to me because the hills in the background are the Llano Uplift. Llano is about 40 miles from this spot on Highway 71 and usually when I'm traveling from West Texas this is my first glimpse of the hill country and the landscape west of the hill country almost always has a golden color due to the absence of rain!
