Painting completed in: 1983

This Cardinal flew into a windshield and was stunned when he was brought to my wife who used to care for all kinds of creatures. He was about as beautiful as a bird could be but when we tried to handle him to set him free, he bit and fought like a little Tiger. We sure were relieved to see him fly away.
