I started painting this from memory while showing my work, first at the Lampasas Spring Ho Festival and finished it at Fredericksburg Trade Days. We have 4 stock tanks on our ranch and I always enjoy seeing things reflecting in their water. The British refer veto the United States has being “Across the Pond” and somehow that seemed to fit this Painting!
