Spring in Texas when the Bluebonnets are in bloom is also mating season for Turkeys and the Toms battle it out for the affections of the Hens and only the toughest get to mate! If you see TomTurkeys hanging out together in the spring it means that these guys didn’t quite measure up in the mating battles and are commiserating about their mutual disappointment.
