I'm writing a Book!
I'm calling it "Texas in my Windshield" It will be an Autobiography and lots of Road Stories about 40 years of traveling to and from over 1000 Art Shows and it will have lots of Paintings (some that have never been previously published) As you probably know, I write little comments about the Paintings that I publish as Prints and many have much longer stories than can be fitted onto a 1" x 5" plate so there will be lots of longer stories about many of the paintings.
I've been talking about this book for several years and many of you have urged me to publish it. Currently I have finished about 70% of the text and have decided on enough of the specifics to figure out the size of the book and get some cost estimates.
I need your help!
I intend to publish this book myself, don't have the money to do so and don't want to use a Publisher because I want to tell the story my way without losing control. So here's what I would like to do. If you are interested in purchasing my book, please contact us and and register your name and contact information (Name, Address, Phone, EMail and number of copies of the book)(no money required, just your intent to buy the book in the comments section). When I get enough orders to cover the publishing costs, I will be able take the orders to the Bank and get a loan to pay the publishing costs and after publishing I will ship the book to you and you can pay after you receive it.
The book will be Hard Bound and will have 192 pages in full color and the Price will be $45

I will personally write a dedication note to you or whoever you ask if you are buying the book as a gift and sign and date each book that you order before I go to Press! .

ARTIST CANVAS OPTION
Now you can get prints of my work printed directly on artist canvas! I now have my own printing equipment here in my studio. Most Limited Editions and Gold Signature Prints can now be printed on canvas and sizes can be changed. It costs a little more but the framed print looks more like a painting. I just started printing on canvas recently, so I don't have all the information available to order them all online yet, but all of the new prints and the calendar pages are available on canvas, so if the print you want isn't online, call us Toll Free at 1-800-243-4316 and we can take your order!. I'll get more of them available online in the future. Most Limited Editions on canvas unframed are $100 to $150 each or $255 to $350 framed. Most Gold Signature Prints are $25 to $65 unframed on canvas and $105 to $190 framed. If the print you want on canvas isn't available online, call 1-800-243-4316 or email us at art@gboutwell.com and we can give you a price on a specific print or quote you a price for a custom size!
