“YSLETA MISSION" This painting will be published on my 2006 Texas Spanish Missions Calendar. The Ysleta Mission, "Mission San Antonio de los Tiguas" is Southeast of El Paso and is the second oldest Christian Congregation in the United State! The mission was founded in 1680 and was destroyed by floods several times and was moved to its present location and reconstruction was finished in 1851. Ysletta Mission also is the Tigua Indian Tribe headquarters and they have a great Restaurant and gift shop as well! - GEORGE BOUTWELL
