“Downtown Yoakum, Texas” This is the corner of Grand Avenue and Lott Street and is referred to as Victory Square although there is no square. I took it back to look as it might have looked in the early 60's. I was given the names of the businesses in those days by Marie Jo Knippa who had her first Date at the Ritz Theater. None of the Businesses shown here exist today so I designed all of the signs. - GEORGE BOUTWELL
