"MOUNTAIN PINK AND CUCKOO BEE" Mountain Pink (Centaurium beyrichii, Gentian family) grows in ball like clumps about 12" in diameter in central and west Texas from May to August. The Cuckoo Bee is a parasitic Bee that deposits its eggs in the ness of other Bees for the host Bees to care for.
