The Lucky One- Christmas 1981. Our society places so much emphasis on youth that it's easy to get the impression that getting old is some kind of disgrace. This seems strange to me because everyone gets to be young but only the luckiest people get to be old. In my opinion each day, no matter how many problems it may pose, is truly a blessing, because no one is promised tomorrow and to live to be very old is to have been blessed many times! - GEORGE BOUTWELL |
