Ironweed and Painted Lady Butterfly

"IRONWEED AND PAINTED LADY BUTTERFLY" Ironweed (Vernonia baldwinii, Sunflower family) grows two to four foot tall and blooms from June to November in most parts of Texas and is one of it's most hardy plants. The Painted Lady Butterfly is found in most of the U.S., the adult Butterfly lives more than one season and hibernates during the winter or migrates.
