"HALLETTSVILLE HAPPENING” The Cole Theater is just south of the Courthouse Square in Hallettsville, Texas and was built in 1929. The Movie “The Texans” was filmed at Cotulla, Texas in 1936. Walter Brennan was a lot younger when the movie was released, but I thought he would be more recognizable at the age he is, in the 38 Ford!
