“GONZALES MOBIL" This painting will be published on my 2007 Texas Classic Gas Stations Calendar. This Station is at 621 St. George Street in Gonzales, texas and it opened in 1936 and closed in the early 1970's After housing several different businesses it was purchased by current owner Bobby Bowden who restored it in 2000 to its former glory. No gas but a standing reminder of the way things used to be!!- GEORGE BOUTWELL
